The Shipley Group secures the specialist restoration of two listed cottages for Sambourne Trust client.
The restoration and adaption of two listed cottages dating back to circa 1700, the project involves the appointment of all three of our specialist companies, with Neal R Shipley & Co the appointed Principal Contractor.
The restoration scheme includes external roof and façade repairs, remedial work to the structural oak frame, and the replacement of windows with a traditional timber casement solution to conservation approval.
Internal adaption’s and refurbishment is proposed to provide new boiler and upgraded special heating, an electrical rewire, new kitchen and bathroom installations and full decorations.
Due for completion in mid January, this project is a welcome addition to an already comprehensive heritage portfolio.
