The design, manufacture and installation of replacement traditional timber, weighted and sliding box sash windows, to meet the precise specification and performance criteria developed by the project architect and the local authority planning and conservation consultants.
The scheme was programmed so that the most invasive replacement works were undertaken during the school’s summer holiday period, with programmed elements being undertaken within a live school site, which involved meticulous logistical and safeguarding planning.
All windows were supplied to site pre-finished (painted) and with glazing installed, to further reduce the installation time on-site, as well as ensuring that such operations were undertaken under control manufacturing conditions, away from the elements.
